The small database indexed here contains about 500 individuals and 140 surnames, mostly AMERONGEN and ADEGEEST. My grandmother Maria VAN DER HOEVEN was a daughter of Petronella van Amerongen. Maria married twice, and among the descendants from her first marriage are many family members carrying the surname ADEGEEST. By coincidence there are several ADEGEEST in the ahnentafel of Maria's second spouse Leendert VERWOERD.
